Interview Section With Kiana D
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
J.I. Prince of NY, I’ve followed his journey and I have so much respect for his work ethic! He’s a
savage, he stays hungry and the art he creates is detrimental to the industry! Nothing was handed to
him he faught for his… I have to have a record with him! It will happen.
What differentiates you from the next singer?
Ima singer with bars! & and also my versatility. “MY project “Pretty King” starts of with a message to
God, then a love song, (Man Named Love), followed by baby making music (More), then I’m talking my
shit (Dat Way & No Cap). I deliver a musical rollercoaster.
How do you plan to breakthrough?
Staying consistent! I’m not stopping until ima full time musician. Staying hungry God will lead me
into the right doors! Music Videos coming soon I know once visuals are released I believe I will
really takeoff.
Where do you think the future of the music industry lies?
Music will never die!!! The industry will only continue to expand and continue to save lives and
enhance futures.
Difficulties of the come up?
Time & Money, it’s expensive being an independent artist. It’s truly an investment but no business
comes without investment and this is a business. Also, the waiting game! Just waiting for the right
A&R to hear you is so stressful I know I’m going to make it but the anticipation and process is
extremely stressful but I just keep going.
